Child labor is cruel because, iqbal weaved carpets all day every day for 12 hours a day, Craig wanted to stop child labor because of what happened to iqbal.
Iqbal was 12 years old when he was shot and killed. He was killed because he escaped child slavery. He was chained to his loam than one day he ran away. He went to Massachusetts and went Broad Meadows Middle School . Than when he went back to pakistan the taliban shot and killed him.
Craig saw what happened to iqbal and then he  made a organization called free the children. To help stop child labor because it was wrong. He was the same age as iqbal when he was killed. He read the article two years later.
